• Day One: You are collected at Nairobi Airport and taken to Macushla guest house for a restful day before your flight to Malindi in the afternoon. A short twenty-minute drive from Malindi airport is the Watamu National Marine Park.
  
  Named one of the Top Ten Beaches of the World in 1998, Watamu hosts Hemingways Hotel, your home for the next two weeks. Lie back and enjoy the sunshine, snorkeling and lazy, tropical days while the attentive staff and superb chefs ensure your holiday enjoyment.
  
  For the more active, the deep-sea fishing is superb! With world class skippers and well-trained crews, Hemingways consistently tops the big game fish charts while practising tag and release systems whenever possible to help conserve the natural population levels.

Tsavo is credited with one of the world's leading biodiversity strongholds. From red brown rivers surrounded by green grass and doum palmtrees, to the endless plains, covered in red dust, with perhaps a single surviving acacia tree, the scenery is constantly changing. Tsavo's stunning views over the plains of Africa include the largest lava flow in the world, the Yatta Plateau, Mudanda Rock, which resembles a smaller version of Ayers Rock, and the incredible Lugard Falls.
  
  If the scenery isn't enough for you, don't worry! Tsavo abounds with elephant, buffalo, giraffe, and lion. And while you are chasing the 'big ones', there are always waterbuck, gazelles, zebra and kudu to watch. Not to mention over 500 species of birds!
  
  
• Day Nine: Return by road to Watamu for a few more relaxing days at Hemingways.
  
  
• Day Fourteen: Return flight to Nairobi in order to catch your return flight to Europe.
